i’m having poorly internet coverage here at Perak, Taiping. even celcom broadband constantly disconnected. thought of changing service, but don’t have much choice here.

I’m staying at Jelutong area. I subscribe to wimax like a week ago. It was working fine at the beginning stage. However after Penang had 2 days heavy rain non stop, the signal seem to be very weak. I never get green light anymore…Most of the time red and yellow. I’ve tried report to 1 300 800 888. Never get good response and they normally ask me to change the IP address at my laptop. What is it to do with my ip address setting with modem signal coverage. May I know where can I report about this problem???

If your modem light started blinking, it means you lost connection else it should be fine.
If you lost connection for more than a day, you may call 1300 800 888 to ask for rebate.
Always remember to ask for a ticket number even if you need to force the operator to give you.
Because P1 careline is currently done by third party.
I reported to the careline many time already and they keep asking me to change the IP. Until this morning I’ve tested the signal still yellow and sometime red. My point here is I want back the normal stage where I first start to subscript which is green. Reason being I always have web confenrence that I need to attend after work from home, if the signal weak, I will not be able to see the web sharing session.

Can i know is Lorong Mesra Permai, Taman Mesra Permai (Butterworth) under coverage? If not, can I know time estimation when it can get covered? According to what you said, everyone must with a at lest 12 month contract. Can I downgrade or upgrade during the contract period? If yes, will it be another 12 months needed to be tie up?

Hie, I’m from Sunrise Garden, Changkat Kenari. Is there coverage at the area? And for the RM49 package, it’s WIGGY as well rite? The registration fees and activation fees are a must? =P And it’ll just be a USB adapter or something rite? No lines, nothing else rite?

Changkat Kenari is in Sungai Ara and that area will be cover together with Bayan Baru. We were being told that it would come up at the same time..
As for the Packages, RM49 = HOME LITE(desktop Modem). Wiggy69= RM69/month and it’s USB. With P1 wimax you will never have to use a PHONE LINE ever again. As for the Registration and Activation fee YES it is a must.. Just like if you were to enroll in any course you still have to pay for registration right? =)

how about the speed of upload for wiggy 69 ?depend on loacation?Is that the same thing when use over the 5GB the speed will cut down into half?

For Wiggy 69 the upload speed is about 400kbps and it works just the same as any of our product,
As you use over the FUT(Fair Usage Threshold) the speed would be reduce to around 200-300kbps..
We hope that with this information given you are able to plan out and see what plan suits you best

For the moment Bukit Mertajam is still not covered.. as to what the ADMIN said before,

Purpose of Fair Usage Threshold is to protect your bandwidth usage from being used by other users.
For example, if you use only 10G on average in a month, but some other users in the zone is using 50Gof bandwidth.
Your bandwidth is drawn by the 50G user. So to be fair to all users, P1 has come out of this new strategy, FAIR USAGE THRESHOLD.

P1 will NOT block you like other broadband provider, but will slow you down. Wiggy 69 is 800k download will be downgraded to 200-300k.
Hi, when will P1wimax will cover Pusat Latihan Teknologi Tinggi(ADTEC) Kulim in Mahang, we have close to 700 students who are all living in “asrama”.Our wired internet connection here is not so good either.
